Yes, the life goes on… in Nepali style…and in foreign style.
Despite all those bomb blasts and killings, it seems, life in Nepal turns into normalcy the day after… Take this example from Pokhara…The other day bombs exploded, civilians were injured…then the next day saw army folks painstakingly trying to defuse a fake bomb. Tourists were seen taking photos. And the days after tourists were enjoying the horsehide. They are still seen in this city of west Nepal riding horses…drinking beers and boating around the famous Phewa Lake.

studying in kathmandu means missing home for me, and whenever i hear that there is blast in pokhara and civilians wonded, i fear if they r my friends and family and relatives. But who ever the people they r directly and indirectly related to me.
When i left pokhara, i thought pokhara was safest place in Nepal, and when i am in Capital now i am worrying about pokhara my home town……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Unless this violence is stopped, sooner or later a tourist will be killed or injured. Bullets & Bombs have no brains and sometime harm untended victims.
What will this do to the already failed economy of Nepal ?
so sorry to hear about the recent events. nepal is the most wonderful, beautiful and as i remember peaceful place i have ever had the privelege to live. I always remember happy memories, of kind and happy people and never really ever wanting to leave. 1989 seems only like yesterday, so i hope all the wonderful people i met and became friends with are well, healthy and happy.
Pokhara made me feel at home at one with myself and all around. Bhakta, Djogi, Everyone at the Teatime, Brigitta, Homme the medicineman and a wonderful old Gurka who lived on the other side of the lake.Biba and her two children who worked at the Teatime and all the kitchen staff there and the whole of the wonderful people of Pokhara and Nepal who always smile and make everyone feel so welcome. I hope to return with my children and hope they find that inner peace you all posess. Namaste!!
OK, Nepal can develop as a Terror tourism Destination by the effort of the state and rebellions and democratic parties too (by banda and huldanga !)
i agree that to look at these tourists enjoyed there holidays,after having heard about the accident,it’s a bit hard …but u Nepalese people are u good ??i came once ,to help the poorest in ur country ,becoz u do not bother for them …and what did u do to me ???taking my husband money (who do not like Nepalese) even journalist …and try to destroyed me …corruption is ur only god …for the police also ….so ,if the tourist wants to laugh…why not …still it makes me sad .
